PFC Sochi 10-1 FC Rostov
These are crazy times to live in. Forty two players signed to FC Rostov in Russia were told to quarantine following 6 positive corornavirus results this week. Last night FC Rostov were forced to play much of their U17 team alongside U18 & U19 players during their Russian Premier Division game versus PFC Sochi. FC Rostov sat 4th in the table before the game, but the teenagers lost the game 10-1. The FC Rostov goalkeeper on the evening was Denis Popov. Popov who is seventeen years old was awarded man of the match despite the heavy defeat, and it was just reward for an impressive display. Highlights of the game can be seen below.
